If item is not new, you should expect normal signs of being worn.  There are times when I buy distressed new with tags items at a discount store.  These items are marked with an " * ". They may be just perfect, but sometimes they need a small repair like sewing a button on, tacking up a hem or hook n eye, sewing a small hole closed, fixing a zipper, or you might have to do a little spot cleaning, etc. It'll still be a bargain though.  If it's a sweater, then expect some pilling that can easily be remedied by using a shaver...if it even matters to you.  Ask questions before you bid.  All items sold as-is.
